Tammie L. Moses
CPA, Founder
Tammie L. Moses is a native of Charlottesville Virginia and has a strong connection to the community. She received her Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration Accounting from Bridgewater College and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Averett University. Tammie is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Virginia as well as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Tammie started in public accounting in 1992 and moved into the private sector in 1998. It became quickly evident there was something missing in the private sector, the aspect of helping small businesses and individuals succeed. During this time, she started building a part-time public accounting practice. The last position in the private sector was a Corporate Controller for a company with over 500 employees and four locations throughout the United States. The responsibilities of a Corporate Controller have exposed Tammie to many aspects of accounting and the business world from personnel issues, policy and procedure manuals, treasury management, tax planning, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable (collections), software conversions, fixed assets, payroll, cost/construction accounting, foreign currency translation, Defense Contract Audit Agency Audits (DCAA) and Incurred Cost Submissions (ICE) as well as external audits. This experience has proven to be an invaluable asset.
In May of 2007, Tammie decided it was time to resign as a Corporate Controller and become fully dedicated to her clients and grow her business. Tammie has been successful in helping small businesses and individuals reach and/or exceed their goals with unparalleled service. Tammie is here to help you succeed.
